The Rotary Club and Absecon-Galloway and the Rotary Club of Mainland organized a Penny Auction Fundraiser for the Family Program of the Army Guard and Air Guard located at the 177th base in Atlantic City airport. The Family Program’s vision is an enhanced quality of life for National Guard Members, their families, and the communities in which they live.
The fundraiser was held on April 26th at the Brandall Estates in Linwood, NJ and was a great success, thanks to the generous donations of auction items from various businesses in the area. The clubs have been able to raise funds through different fundraisers, which will be of great help, as thousands of troops from the area will be deployed worldwide this summer. The Rotary Clubs have supported other events of the Family Program including the Easter Party for the families and kids of the service men and women in the area.
