Rotary Club of Absecon Galloway recently hosted District Governor Ralph Owen of the Washington Township Breakfast Rotary Club. Ralph is on a tour of the fifty five Rotary Clubs in his District, which encompasses the counties of Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland, Atlantic, Salem, and Cape May.
Rotary's current worldwide project is the eradication of polio, which was really helped by a one hundred million dollar donation from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Each of the thirty thousand Rotary Clubs worldwide has been asked to contribute one thousand dollars a year for three years to match the Fates Foundation donation.
