Rotary Club of Absecon-Galloway distributed the special dictionaries to all third graders in the Absecon and Galloway School system. The goal of this program is to assist all students in completing the school year as good writers, active readers and creative thinkers by providing students with their own personal dictionary. The dictionaries are a gift to each student to use at school and at home for years to come.
Kids loved the fact these books are theirs to keep and participated in spelling test, when the books were distributed. Over the past several years, the club has donated over 3000 dictionaries to the students in the area.
